  • Made some Portobello Schwarma tonight WFP no oil. 
This is not a style of cooking I usually practice but I was pleased. I tossed the mushrooms with schwarma spices and veg stock and put them on a lined sheet pan. The mushrooms cooked so well and were only a little drier than if I had cooked them with oil. Omg it was so good with a little turmeric coconut yogurt, shredded cabbage and herbs on a whole wheat pita! I think next time I might cook them on a grill pan instead if I do it with no oil.

  • Enjoy one of the powerhouses of raw vegan protein, CHIA SEEDS, in a simple pudding with almond milk and matcha, topped with berries, almonds and coconut. Even mix in a little protein powder if you’d like to up the protein content a little!
Call them superfoods if you’d like, just make sure to add some to your diet daily to improve your intake of plant based protein and omega fatty acids!
