Blueberries and spirulina make a natural pairing in this mildly sweet and super nutritious smoothie bowl!
Ingredients
For the Smoothie Base:
2 frozen banana
1 avocado
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 tablespoon E3 Live or ½ teaspoon spiraling powder
¼-1/2 cup macadamia milk (or other nut milk)
1 tablespoon date syrup
1 tablespoon chia seeds
For the garnish:
1 tablespoon coconut, shredded
¼ cup blueberries, fresh
¼ cup blackberries, fresh
1 teaspoon chia seeds (optional)
1 teaspoon buckwheat groats (optional)
Instructions
To make the smoothie base, place all the smoothie base ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth. You may need to stop the food processor and scrape down the sides in order to get the mixture smooth.
Remove from the food processor and put the mixture in a container and place in your freezer for 15 minutes to firm up.
To make the bowls, divide the base mixture up into 2 bowls. Garnish with fresh coconut, blueberries, blackberries, chia seeds, and buckwheat groats. Serve immediately.
